Well, the desktop does not have anything needed for ethernet..won't I have to buy an adapter and router for that? That still does not tell me why I am showing connected to the network through the 2 wire modem on my laptop but all of the sudden..my desktop says it is not connected..yet it is. I am willing to try the ethernet cable even though everyone tells me it is slower..as long as it does not cost alot...if it does I may well just switch networks. Seems the last few months the server is down alot and it is very slow..that never used to happen.
