Canadian ISPs and IPv6?

I am trying to update the following page on ISPs providing IPv6 addresses to their customers:

Does anyone know whether any Canadian ISP provides IPv6 functionality?

Re: Canadian ISPs and IPv6?

As of right now, I don't know of any Canadian providers that actually have IPv6. I know Teksavvy is actively working on providing it but no word on when they will.

Re: Canadian ISPs and IPv6?

We (Nexicom) have it deployed in our core networks but not able to offer it just yet to customers. I was working on some network design changes last week with some Cisco TAC guys on a whiteboard looking at best options.

It's a bit complicated still to offer it to end users - it's doable but a lot more work than probably most providers are willing to spend on it currently...

Is there a particular reason you want IPv6 addressing?

IPv6 won't get you around throttling at all... sorry to break the bad news - I'm 90% sure of that...;)
