Superwilly : Thanks for your reply's guys. The 3rd party told me there was nothing he could do to speed up the installation, so I phoned Telus myself. That was yesterday, and the helpful Telus rep I spoke to bumped my install date to today. It's working as I'm typing this!

Sooo... yay Telus and boooo JSL Forum in Cranbrook, BC.

On another note, the 3.0 Mbps office line I ordered is testing at 1.3, and the JSL Forum guy is trying to BS me that there's nothing to be done about that (3.0 is only max, limited by distance from CO...etc).

I know that Telus can try different port profiles to tweak the port for speed, I'm right in the middle of town so distance shouldn't be an issue.

Thoughts on the speed issue?

Superwilly : Hi all, I'm hoping some Telus-connected members might be able to help me out.

I'm in Cranbrook, BC for an 2 month contract to do some web design for a local developer, and I need ADSL asap. I ordered an Office (3.0 Mbps) package for the office I'm working out of on June 16th, but the 3rd party partner I ordered it from says the install won't happen until June 30. That's 2 whole weeks!

How can I expedite this process? Is there someone at Telus I can call to order the service myself? I know from past experience that Telus seems to have 2 queues - one for themselves and one for partners, and I think I am in the slower queue.

HELP? :)

Thanks,
-Cam
