| Incorrect Tivo Channel Listings in Chicago
RCN Guys,
There are several discrepancies between the Chicago Digital Lineup that you guys have posted at »www.rcn.com/pdf/chicago_crush_li···5-28.pdf and what is listed with Tribune Media that provides the info to TiVo. See below for the ones that are wrong...
Channel 35 - WFBT - Not listed with Tribune & TiVo
Channel 371 - Comcast SportsNet Plus - Not listed with Tribune & TiVo
Channel 641 - ABC Family HD - Not listed with Tribune & TiVo
Channel 645 - Disney HD - Not listed with Tribune & TiVo
Channel 646 - Toon Disney HD - Not listed with Tribune & TiVo
Channel 683 - ESPN News HD - Not listed with Tribune & TiVo
Channel 684 - Comcast SportsNet Plus HD - Not listed with Tribune & TiVo
I have tried contacting the RCN Call Center but as usual, they cant grasp what I am asking for and tell me to power cycle my equipment and that will fix it! What can be done to correct this ASAP?? There are several channels listed that I would like to record on and am not able to because they do not show up on my TiVo lineups.
As always, thanks for your assistance.......

| Out of all those channels you have listed, i only have channel 35. I have a dct 3416 and don't have any of the other channels. I don't think they launched them yet. At least in my neighborhood.

Chicago, IL | Thats wierd..The new lineup that RCN posted showed them as active...The only one that says "Comming Soon" is Speed HD on Channel 689, so I left that one off my list..... |

Hopefully someone from rcn can let us know if and when these new channels will be launched. That lineup is from may 28th and it's already june 23rd.

go to this link and report the issues to tivo, they will eventually fix it (sometimes takes a week or so). Its your best bet to get it resolved quickly. You can also do manual recordings on your tivo as well, which is what I used when RCN added a few stations here in Boston and the channel guide was missing info. |

| I was under the impression that these channels are not even launched in all of chicago yet. He may not be able to manually record them.

If you get the channel and are missing the guide info, use the link I posted above and contact tivo, they will fix it. (You might want to mention that you are in the all digital lineup in the explanation section of the tivo link) If you do not get the channels, then its a RCN problem(either your equipment, (ie box or cablecard) or signal, (which could be a signal strength issue or that RCN has not gone live in your neighborhood for those channels.) |

These channels have NOT launched yet in Chicago, That was a misprint and should be cleared up soon.
