join:2004-12-10 Utica, MS | Hmm, I noticed they didn't mention very many cards as REVA capable. That is interesting to me since the PC5750, which I have, is supposed to be RevA capable with a firmware update. |

| 5750 is produced Rev. A compatible . You cannot upgrade any device from Rev. 0 to Rev. A with a firmware upgrade . It requires a hardware upgrade . Now the word is to go from Rev. A to Rev. B when it is available will be a firmware upgrade -- www.MaximumSignal.Net |

| The one I received was Rev. A right out of the Box. Same with all my customers . I have never heard of a firmware upgrade being required. You should check with UT Starcom for such a firmware upgrade if it is available for yours. -- www.MaximumSignal.Net |

| The newer cards are being shipped with the latest firmware already applied. The older cards required a firmware update so that it would be compatible with Rev. A.
I've had mine for about seven months, and it was brand new when I purchased it. |

| The last couple of days I have been jumping from Rev A to DO but my signal strength has dropped and I am going way slower then normal right now. I wanted to check for an update on my quick link mobile and it says the info can't be retrieved and to make sure I am connected. I'm connected. Has anyone else had a problem if they check for an update? |

| reply to MarthaG I definitely have this update:

Assuming I have the latest update and it allows my modem to operate at RevA speeds, I wonder if locking my modem to HDR Only will prevent me from seeing RevA. To be more specific, is locking my modem to HDR only forcing it to be Rev0? |

| said by Max Signal :1450 down 380 up definitely Rev. A definitely wish I could have those speeds lol. As you can see by the post ansar made, there is a firmware upgrade for the PC5750. I would imagine, just like in your case, that newer cards are shipped with the newest firmware, unlike my card, and ones sold prior to the firmware being available. |

| Re: Alltel Wireless Rolls Out Faster Broadband Network
Last night for a number of hours my connection was acting really weird. It would go from rA to Do but stayed dormant. My cell phone was doing the same thing. Today I am back to DO but it seemed they were experimenting with rA in my area. I hope that is what they were doing. |
