Not coming to a neighborhood near you

I could only see this happening in areas where fios is their primary competition. I don't see this happening in Phoenix anytime soon.

In Phoenix is it called "brownfield"?

(just joking, I've spent a lot of time in Arizona and enjoyed it immensely.)

Are there even any big new developments going in in Phoenix these days?

I lived there during the height of the real estate craze, when they were building new bedroom communities way up I-17 and down in places like Casa Grande.

I've also heard that they're one of the hardest hit real estate markets in the country...no big surprise...it was pretty obvious that there was way too much construction going on...

Oh they are still building new houses. The big markets are Queen Creek, Buckeye, Maricopa, and Surprise along Loop 303. Now anybody who wants to commute on I-10 from Buckeye or Maricopa to downtown Phoenix 5 days a week had better be making 7 figures otherwise its just not worth it.
