New Customers Being Accepted

and a new look to the Web Site.

@rr.com
Interesting that it took this long to get to the point they are accepting new customers. Only problem is when you click the signup link you get 'Client not found.'

i'm not surprised at all...this is nearing the end of the 1 year point after SR went under, and during which most of the carryover people have been using their service. they've probably seen the light at the end of the tunnel that is tons of their customers jumping ship, esp w/ the 1 year point coming up, and realized that in order to remain viable as a company, they need to bring in fresh meat for the grinder.

Never thought I'd see the day.

However, it appears as if quality control on the web site isn't quite there yet.

Is the price $15.95 or $16.95? And I thought Teleblend was not SunRocket?

What is it?
Control who calls your SunRocket number by creating a list of callers you want to refuse. These callers will hear a busy signal.

The same page also shows $14.95 at the top above the "Signup now!" button.

if that's the case, then by law they are required to honor the lowest price, in this case $14.95. Not that I'm going to switch to them to try it, but for folks who are...

Maybe this is a payoff for finding the faults in their website? If we keep digging, will we find $12.95..... or $11.95? Once can hope. But, even at these prices.... still overpriced for services (not)rendered, IMHO.

Still no failover should your internet connection go down. Good luck Teleblend.

Who cares, my internet has not been down, as far as I know, in over a year. Get a decent internet provider and this is a non-issue.

Neither has mine, but we have lost power. 2.5 years ago when I was interviewing we had a nasty windstorm in NE Connecticut and power was out for three days. Last thing I want is a potential employer not being able to reach me.

The other thing I noticed is that they don't even have SSL for signup. You input your CC information right into a regular website.

Piss poor.....

ouch. i was hoping that even though the form itself was non-ssl that the page that parses it would be. a quick look at the source shows that it's in the clear the whole way, though. way to go, TB. too cheap to get an SSL cert?

Edit - I sent an email to their tech support on this. I can't believe that they would do this. where'd they get their IT know-how from, a cracker-jack box?

I found $12.95 in an auto-reply email they sent to me:

Many of you have asked about our pricing plans. Our price is $12.95* per month.

they responded:

Dear Customer, Thank you very much for bringing this to our attention. We are having this fixed as we speak. We hope that you will enjoy being a new customer with us shortly.

note that i am not, nor will i ever be, a TB customer, but at least I can help those out there that want to be.

Looks like they are charging $1 per month for the message screener, I mean "Powermail".
