Re: Alltel is now VZW? Yep, that is why I am concerned about the future of U Prepaid.
VZW will be happy to see me go too. This line has been used as a backup to my Sprint line, and of the initial $20 refill back in mid-2006 there is still about $4 left.
I'm also ~50 miles away from the closest Alltel area and have been pretty much perma-roaming on Sprint or VZW. I'm sure in the end they've lost money on me.
