[Wireless] WZR2-G300N and WHR-G54S

Is it possible to use WZR2-G300N (router) and extend wireless network with WHR-G54S? Is it possible to add WDS clients to WZR2-G300N from the config menu? Is there any better solution for extending wireless network using WZR2-G300N as router?

You could look at installing DD-WRT on the WHR-G54S and then setting it up as a bridge/ethernet converter just like Buffalo's WLI-TX4-G54HP. You do not need to do anything with the WZR2-G300N. The DD-WRT web site and wiki should give you all the information you need to do this.

There is always a risk with installing third-party firmware and you will need to configure the new firmware correctly, so alternatively a WLI-TX4-G54HP will do the job straight out of the box.

Either solution will only give you 'G' wireless which is a waste of the WZR2-G300N's 'N' capabilities. To make full use of the 'N' capabilities you will need to use the WLI-TX4-AG300N. This is a new product, it's an 'N' equivalent of the Buffalo WLI-TX4-G54HP and won't be on sale in Europe until July.

Lets hope the CSIRO/Buffalo issued is resolved soon so that the WLI-TX4-AG300N (and all the other Buffalo wi-fi products) will be available in North America.
