"that would really hurt" I am not sure that describes it well enough. It would be supreme ass rapeage. How they were able to convince the FCC and the federal government that charging Americans a small house payment ($500) for every gig, over the 5 GB limit, is beyond me. I hope the cap is either removed or raised to a fair cap if Verizon is allowed to buy Alltel. I think forcing them to remove the cap would be best, because it would encourage them to deploy the 700 MHz spectrum to, rural and have not internet users, sooner. Other wise they will come up with some new "Milk the costumer" plan. I also think the FCC should force the phone companies to provide free T-1'S to cell towers that provide data to a community where they do not offer at least DSL to there costumers. I think we would all be surprised how fast rural and have not communities can be built out. |
