DarkStarPDX : Reboot your ONT... Unplug the ONT and take out the battery, wait about 10 minutes and plug everything back in. I had this exact problem (except on the 15/2 plan) and thought it was the Actiontec or my computer and probably worked on it for about 2 hours when I finally decided to try restarting the ONT and that fixed everything!

15/15 Plan in NW Oregon goes extremely slow

anon : I have a problem that's a bit unusual, I've already had my router replaced by Verizon and I can't really guess what's wrong.

Basically the longer I use the internet, the slower the connection to (mainly websites) will go, the speeds are slower than DSL and they will eventually crawl to an almost 56k like pacing, when they hit rock bottom I am unable to connect to HTTP. The weirdest thing is select applications are fine, like

Steam
Hamachi
Utorrent
Ventrilo
Most games

Any connection to a website will be fruitless, and the only way to "fix" my speed is to reset my router, an incredibly annoying procedure. When my router is reset the web browsing is still slower than dsl, the only thing that bothers me is when I do a speedtest I usually get at least 15/11 which is perfect, but my connection to and from anything takes forever. Loading google on this thing can sometimes take up to ten seconds. I'm using new CAT6 cables, I've tried 4 of them though, I honestly don't know what the heck the problem is.

The weirdest thing is when I go to access my router settings at 192.168.1.1 it behaves just like the internet, extremely slow and sometimes won't even connect. That should be the one website that should load instantly since I'm directly connected to my router. I have about 4 computers on my network, 2 of them are wired, and that includes mine, the other 2 are laptops. Every computer on my network experiences this problem, and I can certainly kill all the downloads and programs and shut off all but one computer and still have the same results. I'm pretty frustrated and it's annoying to call Verizon and have them tell me to reset my router. Heck my old router did this. (And by the way the "router" is the same thing that gives me the internet through the coaxl cable)
