A Boon to domain registrars? (and lawyers)

If you read the bottom of the BBC article, this is still a suggested direction without any technical ability to actually get done.

It would mean that with possibly thousands of top level .whateveryouwant, companies will never be able to buy every domain name possibility. I see many law suits.

And in addition to that, think of the new phishing possibillities. This shit is going to be a lot harder to spot. And oddly enough, it's those very people who can afford to dump $100k (of someone else's money) to get the name they want/need for the next operation.
