It would be nice to make a family website and host it myself, but what's the use? I don't care to fork over that sum of money. Registrations per year are less than a family dinner at McDonalds for already established top levels. Let's be honest, it's about making ICANN a crapload of money, and the target is those who have the money to throw at it.
