Millenicom is not fed up with Sprint. They are not signing up new customers because if they did the high bandwidth users would flood to Millenicom's unlimited service. This Sprint cannot allow to happen. It's that simple. Are they maxed out, bandwidth-wise? It seems like they are turning down business intentionally and I wonder why they'd do that unless it were physically impossible, which we believe to be not the case, since Sprint does use other devices.

I'm not questioning their stated policy of 'no limits and no contract.' Just wonder why they are turning away business. I feel lucky I got in on this early enough. Actually, I didn't even know MC existed till I came to the sprint forum here and found references to it and started checking it out myself. I think you'd have to look a long ways to find an existing MC customer who's not mostly satisfied with service and support from them.

Why not go with Millenicom? Exactly! That's why those of that are signed on with them are...becasue they do not have any caps, and are a reputable company which Sprint is not. Millenicom is not Sprint. They merely have agreements with them. Sprints contracts and limits have no bearing whatsoever on what Millenicom does or does not do. The CEO of Millenicom does. What he says, is what goes...period. There is no conspiracy.

That is what the official word is, yes, and I'm not going to say that's not the case. However, and as I stated in my earlier post that this is my opinion, with the whole mess Sprint is springing onto their customers, and with Millenicom still Unlimited at this time, it is feasible to conclude that there is more to it than just a device shortage.

Others have stated that with Sprint implementing a 5GB cap, why stick with them when they could go to a reseller like Millenicom and get Unlimited still? There's got to be more here than what has been given as official word.

I'll leave it at that. I've got my Millenicom service. I'm happy with it so far. Just have to keep watch over the unfolding developments with Sprint. Nothing lasts forever.

My guess is that was one of those combo WiMax/EVDO guys that Sprint has been rumored to be coming out with. If that's the case, I doubt the manufacturer (Samsung, IIRC) or Sprint would just stop trying to get it certified.
