| Many of the residents still love him! Believe it or not, Rigas is still loved in his old stomping grounds in Potter County, PA by a lot of people. They blame his accountants and workers for his crimes. Although he cost them their jobs, their homes and their futures, the people say John did no wrong. 
Naivete is the rule in that rural area of Pennsyltucky where there are 18,000 people and 1,000,000 deer. From wikipedia, "Potter County was formerly home to the compound of the Aryan Nations, who established themselves here in 2002 after losing their compound in Hayden Lake, Idaho."
The residents don't use names for the months of the year but rather use the terms "First day of buck, First day of doe, First day of Bear, First day of trout" .......etc.

| There may have been 3 in the trailer but there were at least 20 at one of their last meetings. The leader, August Kreiss, was selling Chinese SKS rifles (similar in style to the Ak-47) to the locals. AFAIK, he decided to move when he found out there was a black kid in the school his child attended and he was outraged that the school district allowed it to happen. The idiot thought that the county would stand by him. Foolish man moved to NY state and then South Carolina. |
