WPA, of course, only secures the connection between the station and AP. Online banking and such involves traffic that goes beyond the router (to the ISP and then the Internet). He plugged it in and set up his vista to print wirelessly to the printer(via his router).

How does he secure the printer so no one can see what he's printing to the printer and scanning from the printer? He already has a software firewall and has set up security in his router.

Is it safe to do your personal stuffs, like banking, using a wireless notebook to router to modem and to print/scan wirelessly? With encryption between Notebook and Router using WPA or WPA2?
