Probably many of us do. But acid343211 was speaking of wasting 'resoruces', and I think we can all agree that those are hard enough to come by as it is.

Acid i like your idea but would like to modify it. Instead of disallowing another post, system should automatically merge replys in to one post and just have replied to x before to comments, replied to y before the comments.

I've seen multiple instances where members followed their own post with another post containing different information, opinion, etc., and I don't see a reason to disallow that.
