At time of development the only way to connect the XBox 360 to a UPnP server, was to have a service that is only found on Microsoft services (used for registering for DRM content) and for the server itself to be claimed to be made by microsoft. I tried the hack but it still didn't work. it did get the 360 to see the media server though. kind of useles if you can't access the actual media. I use WMP 11 anyways, but I did want to compare to 2.
