[Other] Re: Proxy latency question

Hi guys,

I went on this proxy website and under a proxy IP address, it also has the port and latency information.

What does latency mean when users connect or using a proxy server?

In other words, the higher the number the faster the proxy is? So whenever I want to load a website faster or browse the net faster using a proxy, I have to pick the latency which has the higher number?

Please help.
Thx

The number can mean whatever the application developer wants it to mean, but the term latency usually refers to time, and lower numbers equal less time so the lower the better.
