s-video?

OMG!! I think I will stick with the HDMI cable that connects my 52" 1080p LCD HDTV to my HTPC. The picture from its $130 internal Blu-ray drive looks alot better that way.
You would have to pry my HTPC out of my cold dead hands before you could ever force me to use a game console. That would be like replacing a Ferrari with a Yugo.

What's really sad is that most of the public is so blind to the benefits offered by an HTPC that they would actually buy a Google Set-Top Box. I just can't stop laughing about that one.

A) There are people that still have SDTVs and those don't come with HDMI. Personally my graphics card has dvi, vga and s-video. Only s-video would work as a connection to my Tv.

B) Appearantly you didn't READ the article. There isn't a set up BOX to buy you ninny, it's SOFTWARE and it's free.

Well that wont be for long, as soon as their TV dies they will have no alternative other than an HDTV as a replacement unless they want used junk or some tiny little screen. Nice how that works out and all.
