Not Muni Wifi

Quick correction...
Wireless Oakland is not a municipal wifi in the pure sense of the word.
Oakland County neither owns, maintains, nor operates the network. The entire network is built, maintained, and operated only with private money. Oakland County's sole involvement is to provide the land on which the network was built without collecting any rent.

In other words, this was a purely private operation.
