How do i change dns on a versalink modem/router?

Details might depend on your firmware version.

On the WAN settings, look for Multiple PVC. Then select EDIT to change your settings. There should be a place you can enter your DNS servers.

Okay, that's the version I have.

I have heard of problems accessing the settings using IE7, but it is fine with IE6 or with firefox. I use firefox.

You first need to connect to the modem web page, which is probably at "httpi;//192.168.1.1/".

From there, click on "Advanced". Then move the mouse over the "WAN" tab. That should present a menu which includes "Multiple PVC". Click on that.

You should now see a page with possibly several rows. One of those rows should show "Enable". Click on the EDIT button for that row. A popup should appear, and the popup page has a place where you can set DNS servers.
