I made both ends A and plugged it up and I am now connected via wired CAT5e. Thanks for the help.

Maxo : I am wiring my house up with CAT5e. Next to my router I will have an outlet with six or so connections where I can run a network cable from it to the router. That outlet will have runs under the house to each room I am connecting up.
It's been a while since I took my cabling class and was reading through it. It says for residential connections I should pin down to T568A. Does it really matter as long as on both ends I use A or on both ends I use B and make sure that the cables I am running from the jack to the device are correct?
--
"Padre, nobody said war was fun now bowl!" - Sherman T Potter

»maxolasersquad.com/

»maxolasersquad.com/network/ My DSL Network Guide

»myspace.com/mlsquad
