| i don't really care about the drm version for cell phones
as far as i'm concerned, the cell phone is a closed hardware device, except for a few models out there and along with the people that have the knowledge/will/tools/skill to load their own stuff. they could probably get away with a less robust DRM implementation on a cell than a computer. with a computer, it is a lot easier to hack/crack stuff since easily accessible tools are available. i'd only be concerned with DRM for cell phones when cell phones (the majority, because openmoko appears to be an open phone (?!??)) are easy to change as you see fit. |
