Re: Iphone uneeded Yep. It's what I did(iPod Touch 8Gb-all I need). And, since I get free WiFi thru ATT's service(DSL), I'm pretty much covered wherever I go. Not to mention free WiFi where I can get it. By the way ATT's 3G coverage is VERY poor outside of major cities here in the U.S., so there's gonna be alot of folks that won't be able to use that "new" iPhone to it's full potential. Even though they'll pay for 3G service with ATT's "new" data plan.
As far as 3G phone for me? Well, I live at "Sprint" speed. Great coverage, cheaper than Verizon. 'nough said.
