| Somebody explain to me why anyone would use a product from a company called Crawler, nevermind the poor reviews?
When they were on the Rogue anti spyware list up to last year and were forced to change their marketing ways.
Now users are supposed to believe that this is a secure product to use,I wouldn't download a *.jpg from them.
Unbelievable. -- ~~Get our troops home...now!!~~ |

1 edit | reply to richter35 This has been done to death on here in previous threads but the general gist of things in the past was that they were now clean, the product was decent and offered comparatively good realtime protection as far as the FREE AS tools went at the time (this may now have changed with the likes of BOClean becoming free). Search for old threads for more info.

| reply to richter35 Ignoring the fact that PC Mag are notoriously bad with reviews of the free AS only solutions in that round-up ST came out quite well in terms of their review rating. I don't think its the last word in spyware detection by a long shot but compared to a lot of the FREE dedicated AS solutions (i.e. Spybot, AdAware, Windows Defender) it generally holds its own.
Of course you could argue that all free AS software is generally poor and you need to pay to get a good solution nut thats another story. -- Just because you're paranoid, it doesn't mean they are not after you |
