Sony claimed to have been <em>supporting</em> the PS1 until 2005 or so, but you pretty much stopped seeing <em>any</em> new PS1's, games, or accessories made for it at all within a year after the PS2 came out.]]></description>

I doubt we'll have to wait until 2016 for a PS4. With Nintendo and Microsoft launching their next consoles in 2011-2012, I highly doubt we'll have to wait 4-5 years after that before the PS3 is replaced.<br> </div>I know he is.  I've learned to take what Sony says about it's products with a grain of salt these days.  ]]></description>
