Texas (San Angelo Area). I'm paying for 8MB/512k but rarely see that. I just ran a speed test and here is what I got:



The upload speed seems to stay the same throughout the day, however, I've seen the down speed drop into the 500kbps range during peak hours... I understand that cable internet involves sharing bandwidth with adjacent users and that bandwidth is going to drop a bit at peak usage times, but going from 8Mbps to 500kbps is outrageous.
