That actually has nothing to do with it though. AT&T has got here first. I highly doubt Verizon will come here although I wish they would. You should e-mail them and ask them if they plan on expanding their network into the Chicago area and suburbs.

Correct, VodaFone owns 45% of VZW and Verizon owns the other 55%. Running fiber to the home and setting up cell towers are quite different. No they aren't. Verizon is only overbuilding on one city and that is in Texas. They are not going to overbuild in a very difficult city like Chicago. They'll just let AT&T have it. I too would like to see this happen, but I don't think it will. At least not anytime soon. We have AT&T instead.
