Mansfield, TX | The day is quickly approaching... The day is quickly approaching when independent artists will cut the middleman COMPLETELY out (as some already are)!
With the internet, advances in digital equipment and audio software & interfaces... one could create superb soundtracks from his/her home (basically), and provide digital releases on the internet! Streaming radio stations are becoming more popular (think cars w/ audio systems that stream using 3G, wifi, etc.)... and getting these stations to push or promote your track will definitely be easier than getting the current over-the-air to do it (they're already deep in the pockets and control of the RIAA).
Give it time... the RIAA is a dying beast! And, it's taking it last panic-filled breathes as we speak! |
