If you make a call while connected to the local airwave service you can roam during the call to a network tower if you move out of range. But if you come back within range you have to end the call and restart it to get back on the local airwave. This seems risky, if for some reason you go out of range without realizing, you will use up your plan minutes without knowing it. Even if you sit back down right next to the device. I wouldn't doubt that there is going to be a lot of problems with this "feature". If it can roam seamlessly one way, there is no reason at all why it can't roam the other way. |
