I used to work for Geek Squad. People have their opinions about it, but I just hate it when a handful of people do something bad or dumb, then everyone who works there is lumped together as an idiot. Geek Squad was a crap job and I disagreed with a lot of their policies (if it has a virus... FORMAT THE MOFO!!), but it gave me some valuable hands-on time with very common issues and helped me breeze through a lot of my professional certifications. Everyone I worked with at my store was very smart, competent, and were really just victims of corporate policies.
