| routing failure
Hey guys,
I have run into a interesting problem, there are 2 locations that run on att\bellsouth dsl services (NOTE: Separate ip ranges, accounts and etc). Everything worked fine until last week Wednesday when neither location could not see each other anymore, a trace route showed that there was complete drop offs from both sides for some reason. I called dsl support last Thursday and the rep. placed a NOC ticket for the issue.
Have any of you run it to this problem before? -- Think Ahead. Learn More. Solve Now! |

| One week... thats unacceptable for the situation you describe!
Now at first I would suspect it is an issue with user error, router configuration, etc... so have you verified that from another ISP the issue does not exist? I would certainly do that before escalating the issue.
You need to find their IP NOC, it is separate from the DSG, so don't bother the DSG about it.
Bellsouth lists invalid NOC/Tech contact with ARIN (it rings and then goes to the general voicemail system, not a specific voicemail box) so you are on your own.
Calling the DSG at 888-701-ADSL and politely asking for the NOC might get you somewhere but don't expect the DSG to be able to fix your issues. -- 09:F9:11:02:9D:74:E3:5B:D8:41:56:C5:63:56:88:C0 |

Can you also provide traceroutes and other information
You may also want to provide traceroutes from an a differnt site to each location not on the att network. |
