Re: New users get att.net instead of bellsouth.net? I can confirm that new users get att.net.
I canceled all of my AT&T services (business DSL, residential DSL, residential voice) except wireless last week, and had a new 3Mbit standalone line installed...the technician just left.
I registered my new account and got att.net for my user ID/e-mail...however, my static IP is still showing sip.lft.bellsouth.net.
