It's a good start. I thought a couple years ago, qwest had an official forum. The problem I believe that all you got was the typical company spin and canned answers.

Hopefully the company will start posting useful information. For actual technical discussions and advice, this forum is definitely a much more useful arena compared to a company forum. That is a good place for NOOB's who can't really spell DSL yet; yet as far as practical real time home networks and DSL usage, the company's trained answers just didn't cut it. I.e. Use to be if you tried calling Qwest and asking about putting your modem/router in bridge mode so you weren't double natting, their canned answer was; "We don't support bridge and PPPOE mode".

I'll keep an eye on the forum and see if qwest posts any useful info. Most users are probably more interested in info such as; When new upgrades; Faster speeds; etc... As long as they don't give the canned answers of "Qwest is expanding their network continuously. Keep checking back". That gets old. Especially when you've asked the question for 4 years. Anyway, we'll see. Later... Mike...

the good part of that forums is, its an end user forum so no official statement from qwest. and only official responses are from mods this forum was out a year ago.

Unfortunately, this only says where they've already upgraded to ADSL2/2+. It has no information on future deployments or schedules.

From the site: "Note: Board posts only include current deployment of fiber-optic internet. Future proposed deployment locations are not included.".

To me that makes this site pointless. For people who already qualify for ADSL2/2+ speeds, the current qualification tool fits the bill. This is essentially redundant information. Nothing new to see here, move along.
