best of both worlds

I am trying to find a way to get reliable broadband-like internet access at home bundled with some sort of nationwide wireless PC card (not just wifi hotspots) in a cost effective manner. I can't seem to find anyone that bundles these together (I'm out of Clearwire's range apparently, but they seem to have something close, except the nationwide coverage on the pc card access.) I even have an AT&T cell phone for work and Verizon cell phones at home. Need to be able to get reliable access to the internet on the road while the family does homework on the PCs and Macs at home at the same time . . . .

Not sure what your asking, but zyxels zywall 2WG is a router that accepts standard wired WAN access (DSL and cable etc) as well as a PCMCIA card which permits CELLULAR WAN access as well. Its also a wifi router and provides signal to laptops.

Trying to find a national ISP that will bundle both a home based broadband service (for home PCs) along with a mobile pc card service (for laptop) into one monthly service. I hate having to pay $50/month to CableOne for broadband service at home and then another $50 to verizon for PC Card access for laptop when on the road. Ive done a bunch of research, but no one seems to provide this . . .any suggestions?

Perhaps I'm missing the point of your question here, but...
You evidently have good Verizon service at home since you use Verizon cell phones for home phone service. Why not try a Verizon USB modem? Simply plug it into desktop when at home, and into laptop when away? They have a 30 day trial policy.

Probably because when the OP leaves the house he/she takes the internet away from the rest of the family. The OP wants two services for the price of one.

Buy a another phone account with Verizon for nothing but internet and use the router previously mentioned to share the service in the house. No one is going to give you a phone and a PCMCIA card for one price.
