Randsl Dude : Dude, I can get 93 TF2 servers ranging from pings of 54 to 99, here in Calgary, on a 3.O profile, according to the TF2 interface. That's with the in game server filter settings set to all...

...when I switch the server filter setting to US West Coast, I only get 35 servers under 100 ping.

...of course it's actually a little higher than that, when playing on the server.

Unless everyone is suffering from the same high ping problems, it's not a network problem.

We should both be able to ping the exact same servers with relatively the same ping, being that we are on the same Telus network...

anon : Just switched from Shaw bundle to the Telus bundle (cable, phone, internet)...

I use to have pings of a minimum 15-20ms with lots to choose from.

Now I get minimum pings of 100 if im lucky, and not much to choose from...

I am playing TF2... In South/Central Edmonton. It makes these games unplayable and the CSR told me it would be much faster than Shaw.

I did the 8mb download test and it downloaded at 350kb/s which told me it was a 4.0 mb connection, but that is highly unlikely lol.
