Missing Child Alerts in Ventura County, CA >

Is there some way Verizon could get word to Ventura County officials that when they break in to the scheduled program to announce a child abduction that their voice is so muffled and and full of static that we can't even tell what the heck they are saying?? Talk about a waste of everyone's time!!! It has happened twice in a month so it is not a one time thing.

Talk to the FCC or your local emergency broadcaster. Verizon has nothing to do with it.

I agree it was really muffled, that noisy siren they use woked me right out of a vicodin-some induced deep sleep and I tought it was "the end of the world as we know it" LOL

sounded like the guy was reaching out from the twilight zone

I believe they record it over the CB. Every amber alert and most of the disaster alerts I have heard sound like that. They really need to have someone re-record it coherently. It is worth the couple minute delay that would take.
