It's interesting art and would be less interesting if it were done on canvas in a gallery, but my disgust for graffiti is overpowering... I'm conflicted. I guess I'm just happy that my area doesn't look as bad as that slum.

I saw it here a while back and it was also posted on engadget or gizmodo recently. No offense.

I think I hear fireworks already. Happy 4th of July.

Nice talent; however, I find it interesting how at the beginning he wants people to respect his property (media outlets need his permission to view the film, etc.)... while he has no obvious rights for other's property!

Graffiti is against the law and I don't care how talented he is. He is a criminal and should be prosecuted as such. Like MySay See Profile mentioned why should anyone respect his media property when he obviously doesn't respect other's property?

I'm curious, do we know for fact he did not have permission from the property owner to use those walls for his film? Considering how trashed the walls were before he started that seems possible. Maybe he offered to clean up the mess when he was finished.

Do we know if he did or did not clean up the walls he used when he finished?

I believe I'll wait for better information before I prosecute..... if that's okay with you guys.

Looks like he used chalk to draw all of that. Which means his art is gone after the next rainfall. Damn chalk toting criminals...

All of those kindergardener's should be hauled away as well! marking up public playgrounds and city streets like this...

i cant believe all of you are so offended by chalk drawings on walls where ACTUAL graffiti was, that was much less pleasing to the eye mind you.

But that's fine, if you're too worried about defacing a decrepit wall rather than appreciating a professional artists work, then go right ahead. this artist should be put away too eh?

Seriously though, reading responses like this makes me not want even post anything for the people here anymore. Everyone needs to turn this into a debate and how much trouble the person should be in for doing what they did in said post. Talk about sad.
