Need temporary internet for 1 month in Toronto..Rogers?

I'm moving to TO and will be in a sublet for 1 month while I search for a proper place to stay. Unfortunately the current tenant could not keep the internet for me and I will have to find something for the month. What choices do I have? I was thinking of going with Rogers Portable for this month and sign up for TekSavvy when I'm settled.

Portable would likely cost quite a bit to get going for only one month, usually you need a 2 year contract to get a decent price, plus purchase the 'modem'.

Probably the easiest is Rogers Cable, that can be activated pretty quickly if existing cable is ready. DSL can be 5-7 days so that would take a week out of your time, cable could be ready in a couple days.

If you go with Robbers or 3Web it doesn't matter. You can activate at your sublet and when you move and have "cable" your modem will work there too.

If your using a laptop maybe you can "borrow" a connection while your a temp.

I would not go with 3web since when you want to cancel you will have 1 hell of a time.
