said by JB138 :Anyone tell me when the NON throttle times are? Is it only from Monday-Friday (8am-6pm)? This seems teh only time my torrent runs fast. As of now (Sunday 11:48pm) I have a DL speed of 15kbs for utorrent. This is totally insane. For me Weekends we are throttled! Unthrottled is 2am-4:30pm ("officially") |

| reply to robinjames yeah im at bayview and sheppard, does not look like i am being throttled right now, doing 150KB down and 50up. i can do higher maybe 450-500 down 90 up... quick question this happened to be a while back on my old dsl isp fci broadband and im still getting it with teksavvy, the issue being that as soon as utorrent starts running, even at a nice user set cap, with what should be plenty of room, for browsing and maybe 100 connections, why does browsing totally freeze, not quite but it becomes unusable???? thanks for your time |

Also in West Ottawa (West Wellington/Westboro area). Its been unthrottled for the past week or so. Thought it might have been a Canada Day thing, but nope... I know for sure it was previously throttled. Knock on Wood it remains this way. |

1 edit | I've been downloading a torrent with speeds of 200KB/s since 5:50PM EST, its 7:10PM EST and its still consistent... In west end of Ottawa. I'm sure its just a fluke and will go away but thought I would mention it
Robin
*edit* have been paying closer attention and the speeds have spiked to as high at 450KB/s at times, now remaining consistent at 300KB/s |
