Re: [TWC] [TWC] NYC RR -- I keep losing service

My service (TWC Manhattan 10036) is out as well. Started the dreaded blink (internet light only) last Friday. At first it only went out at night after I shut down or put the computer to sleep. It wouldn't come back until early afternoon. Gradually it was out longer and longer and now it's gone completely. Speeds plummet to triple digits (usual 6900/480) and take awhile to come back to anything useful. RCA modem fairly new since last time I had outage problems. Strangely though this time my Ethernet link is still green light (Usually it goes red in my network status), but I get different IP address. It's says I'm still linked to the internet but there's nothing on the other end. They're doing a lot of construction around here so I don't know if it's because they're rearranging stuff again or not. Have done all the usually troubleshooting, reboot, wire check, etc. Sometimes it resolves itself sooner or later, but this is ridiculous. RR net stat is red all over as usual. Was hoping this was not unique issue. I've read folks all around the country are having similar problems. Any thoughts? Or is this just standard TWC foolishness?
