...and it's probably for the best. Hahah.

I really wanted to upgrade it again today since I have nothing better to do. My line holds up during 3 meg sync as long as it's not storming excessively...but now my option to upgrade is gone. I really, really don't want to leave Bellsouth and go to CableOne.
Could this potentially mean that a new DSLAM is coming to my area soon?
Or did they remove it because I get on their nerves? (This is what I think. Most of you forum regulars know what I'm talking about...) |

Perhaps you had nothing better to do, but I am sure that the AT&T techs have better things to do than to try to get your out of spec line to support 3mbps service.
I assume that you had to identify your telephone number and/or address before getting to the signup page, so this is simply AT&T doing what they should have been doing all along by not even offering you an option that obviously would not work properly. For example, I do not see 6 mbps service listed as being available at my address, which is as it should be considering my distance from the CO/DSLAM. -- History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid. -- Dwight D. As much as I hate to say it, you're right. *expels a heavy sigh*
Damn you CableOne for being so pricy... |
