[Help Me] ''Connection Interrupted'' issue, please help !

Hey people.
Im having this terrible experience: every time i play Call of Duty 4 online multiplayer, i get this message ''Connection Interrupted'', along with a huge lag. Sometimes is lasts a little, but mostly it stays for like 20 seconds or more, dropping me off the server.
Once i even got an in-game message, just before i got kikced, and it said something about packet limitation.

BTW, and i guess this is the problem and the source for some solution, i'm using a wireless router.
Its a D-Link DI-524. I use a PCI wireless desktop adapter, D-Link DWL-G510.
My download speed is very good, and i dont notice much trouble with downloading and internet browsing.
I've alrdeay searched some forums, but found nothing useful, so im posting this.
Thanks for the attention, guys. Hope someone can figure this out.

I'm also having a recent problem with my wbr-2310 firmware 1.04. I'm getting a lot of disconnect/reconnects. Some are quick but others last long enough to kick off online games (team fortress 2, world of warcraft). It's pretty annoying and I don't have any idea what it could be.

check your nat status in the system blade test your connection and it should be open. Even then I think the way they have xbox live set up to pick a host machine is cross eyed because it most likely gives players with bad home network setups host.

Open the ports for the game. Just follow the links how to open the ports »portforward.com/english/routers/···ty_4.htm

I just bought the DIR-625 and so far so good. No disconnects on ps3 or online yet. Has only been about a day though. The only thing I can't understand is how the signal strength is the same. The 625 is N and should have a greater distance regardless if the receiving card is N or not. The ps3 is only like 20ft away too, through maybe 3 walls in an apt.

802.11N does not provide greater range than G or B regardless of what the manufacturers have led folks to believe. In fact, if range is the only goal, B is the best choice.

The only time N is better is in an environment with a lot of multi-path interference since the N products include a feature called MIMO. Some G stuff had it, too. G with MIMO is the same as N in terms of coping with multi-path.

For MIMO to work with either N or G, you have to have compatible gear on each end.
