[ActionTec] Remote Assist with Verizon ActionTec GT704WG

I help my Mom remotely with Remote Assistance. She has WinXP Pro, I have Vista Ultimate x64. Windows OneCare is the AV/FW on both ends. Remote Assistance is allowed in the firewall.

We've connected before when she had a Westell 2100. I also was not using x64 at that time, if it matters. She just got an Actiontec GT704WG and now I can't connect. We use Windows Live Messenger to initiate the session. I get the invitation and accept, she sees notice that I accepted but no session starts.

Is the Actiontec blocking a required port? Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

I believe you need to open Port 3389 (RDP). Bare in mind if you open it up anyone can try to login. I believe you can lock down to only accepting YOUR IP over port 3389 can be done.
I just got FIOS with the actiontec router and am still learning. It appears you can do it under firewall -> advanced filter -> Ethernet rules(At top). At least it reads like you can here.
