If there are other wireless access points / routers in range, your laptops may be trying to associate with them instead of staying locked to your router. There are several settings in the client that deal with associations / promiscuity, and these settings vary by model. Might be something to check into before you buy another router.]]></description>

My roomie's laptop and mine experience constant disconnections from the router. it doesnt matter if we're using p2p or without, the router just constantly drops the connection...he uses vista and i use xp...it's been like this for the entire year....<br><br>are there any suggestions to improve its performance or do u guys recommend buying a new router?]]></description>
