grunt9800 : Had a tech come out and it turns out I'm not even eligible for the 6mb line. He says the most I can get is 4mb. So I do a speed test and I only get 1.5mb down. I call Centurytel and tell them I've been paying for a 6mb line that I'm not even eligible for and I'm only getting 1.5mb of that. She tells me it's the same price for all speeds >3mb and sets me up with the 4mb line. They send another tech guy out and I guess the first guy hooked my line up wrong (whatever is involved in that).

Long story short...everything fixed... :D
--
If you're ever feeling like one of the crowd, remember that you're unique...just like everyone else.

grunt9800 : What exactly does provisioned mean? Centurytel isn't sending a 6 meg signal (or however it works)? Or is it a hardware issue because I'm definitely paying for a 6 meg plan...thanks again
--
If you're ever feeling like one of the crowd, remember that you're unique...just like everyone else.

If you do a search for your modem type, you should find info on how to get into it's diagnostic page.
