I had always thought On Demand from charter was a pay service. So today I figured id try and get it added. Well, low and behold, none of the On Demand channels are offered in my area. So even though I pay for HBO/STARZ/Showtime package and I should be getting the on demand channels for them, I cant. I am paying for something and not getting all the channels I should be. I have tried to get charter to compensate me for this...but their argument is that on Demand is free. Well, essentially ESPN is "free", I mean I dont pay separate for it. I expect to get ESPN because I pay for the basic cable package it comes in. The same can be said for On Demand, I am paying for access to it, but am not getting it. Anywho, does anyone else have this problem of not having On Demand available in their area? The tech rep said its pretty rare, hes only heard of it 2 other times. Also, the geniuses at Charter couldnt even tell me why it wasnt available or even it it ever would be.
