As far as I can tell about Gmail, there is no safe text viewing capability, and to look at the raw email, you have you open it and click on an unlabeled drop down menu.

Mail-daemon is usually some kind of mailing error, it could be how the sender had it configured, and the odd characters could be foreign language characters the system doesn't understand.
Would I chance going to karame.com and see what the deal is ? Not a chance in this universe.
