yup, just the plain old telephone line goes out everytime it rains, for a day or so. Then it dries out and works again. The last att tech to come out said he was going to get to the root of the problem and fix it for good, like all the others should have. We shall see, it's supposed to rain again this week.
I'd switch to charter, but they are more expensive for phone. I don't need all the extra crap they throw in. I just need a basic telephone.
as for the 10m/1m line, it is a better value, but I don't need that speed. I use no p2p or filesharing or music downloading. I'd be satisfied with slower service even if I could get it at a reasonable price. It's a shame that this is the cheapest tier that charter offers. |
